Rhinoplasty surgery can be very expensive as it is not only associated with the surgery fees but other mischelenious fees as well. However, in some special cases, your insurance might pay a certain percentage of the Rhinoplasty surgery cost. In most cases, plastic surgery is considered to cosmetic reasons therefore your insurance will not cover the procedure. Insurance company will only pay for a surgery only if the see that the surgery is required for medical purposes.

If your surgeon feels that this procedure is necessary to improve your health or quality of life, the insurance company will most likely pay for a portion of the surgery.

This is to eliminate any misunderstandings and complications financially after the surgery. However if you claim is denied and your surgeon believes that the procedure is necessary, then you should file an appeal. As this process will take time, you should discuss with your surgeon on the necessary proof to expedite the claim process and to help prove your case.
