The most difficult decision you may have to make after you’ve chosen to have cosmetic surgery is who your doctor may be. You may want to initially do some research online, looking up each plastic surgeon and checking out his or her website. You may need to secretly research your plastic surgeon by thinking about creative ways to learn more about him or her. You’ll probably want to make sure each cosmetic surgeon you are considering is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. You’ll also want to check that your plastic surgeon belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons or the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
